I’m Annie, a Master of Architecture student at University of Illinois at Chicago who’s hung up on two things:

Research-driven design—the kind of design that refuses to compromise form or function.

Digital-material reality—the reality that online and physical spaces equally house our identities, communities, and cultures.

My professional career has spanned marketing, branding, sales, strategy, and policy-making in the Architecture + Interior Design and Tech industries, but my foundation will forever be my academic roots—cultural anthropology. Anthropology, the study of culture and society, is architecture’s framework and, more importantly, its accountability.
